During Q4 2023, the top 5 navigation and maps apps in Germany showed diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps had a fluctuating download pattern, starting the quarter with around 104K downloads and ending with approximately 82K. Weekly active users saw a slight decline from 10.6M to 10M throughout the quarter.

Blitzer.de experienced a consistent revenue stream, peaking at around $79K in mid-October and ending the quarter with approximately $76K. Downloads ranged from 31K to 44K per week, and weekly active users remained relatively stable around 275K.

Google Earth had download numbers ranging from approximately 25K to 34K per week. Active users showed a decline from 329K at the start of the quarter to about 294K by the end.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic downloads varied between 20K and 29K weekly. Active users remained fairly steady, starting the quarter with around 600K and ending close to 591K.

TomTom GO Navigation saw revenue ranging from $40K to $60K, peaking at approximately $50K by the end of December. Downloads showed a sharp increase, particularly in the last two weeks, reaching around 6K per week. Active users fluctuated around the 40K mark throughout the quarter.
